Shark Coating Ships

The challenge

Cargo ships and other ships cause an extreme amount of pollution. The resistance of ships that sail is great. Shipping is one of the biggest polluters, more than cars or aviation.

The solution

By improving the coating of ships, the energy resistance can be drastically reduced. As an idea I have a coating for ships that looks like shark scales. With a certain paint this could be created. We could tackle this with, for example, the Ministry of Defense, the Netherlands Police as the current partners or, for example, the port of Rotterdam.
