The challenge

A lot of people have bikes that are not in use and that could easily become a source of income. At the same time, the Netherlands attract a lot of tourists that want to easily navigate the streets of the most famous cities with a bike rented at an affordable price. The need we are addressing is that of person-to-person exchange of goods, which would keep the prices low and would provide an additional source of income for the lender.

The solution

Our goal is to create a platform which allows users to search the market place for a bike by specifying the duration, location and maximum price. Each bike owner and renter is rated by their previous clients and a minimum rating has to be kept to stay on the platform. Every transaction happens digitally through our platform hassle free and the money is handled by us to make sure that the users are well protected in case of contingencies.
