The challenge

Reefy is a start-up that provides consultancy and solutions to clients that are closely related to the sea. We look to find a balance between nature and infrastructure, showing the economical and societal benefits that nature is able to provide. (C) - Foto by Coral Reef Image Bank

The solution

Reefy has created a solution that reuses sediments, either sand or mud, to build artificial reefs that can be assembled underwater in a Lego-like structure. This assembly not only hosts a new flourishing and complex reef ecosystem, but it is also a barrier against waves!
